About the Author

If Christianity should happen to be true, then it is quite impossible for those who know this truth and those who don’t should be equally well equipped for leading a good life.  Knowledge of the facts must make a difference to one’s actions”

C.S. Lewis

Robert is a serial entrepreneur.  He has founded or co-founded three software firms with total revenues exceeding $100M during his ownership tenure and is a shareholder in a fourth.

God convicted him to write a book for young men, so he did: Made to Lead: Finding a Virtuous Wife in Sodom, one hundred and fifty pages of straight talk on how to live on a mission and marry well in a sinful, sex-obsessed, divorce-ridden culture.  His current book project is focused on leadership and entrepreneurship for the Christian man.  He willingly shares his many scars, providing training, advice, and counsel on leadership development, entrepreneurship, and life’s lessons.

Cossins loves his family and enjoys reading, thinking, and writing.  He also likes to build things and shoot things, mostly paper targets, up to 1,000 yards and beyond.  He loved playing football and still enjoyed watching football until determining what constituted a catch became more complicated than calculus and, especially, once the quarterback could throw away the ball to avoid a sack, a grievous insult to a former pass rusher; to no one’s chagrin, he now boycotts the game.

He is fascinated by the tapestry of history, believes nations were created by God and provide the best opportunity for civilizational advancement, and agrees with America’s Founders that God desires humans to live in liberty, though we rarely merit the privilege.  He seeks truth in all things, believing it leads to Truth, and thinks much of life can be explained through the proper application of the law of supply and demand.  He’s a redeemed sinner, a former agnostic.  His life has been devoted to following Jesus of Nazareth since 1982.  Rob was blessed with an exceptional mind, but possesses sufficient flaws to keep him very humble.  He’s a “young” Boomer who hates Boomer culture and passionately roots for Gen Z to fix the mess.
